Sexuality and sex appeal are far from the same thing. Remember the blonde in red from the Matrix of the Wachowski brothers? The programmer Mouse created not just a woman, he created a sex bomb. A beautiful figure, long legs, large breasts, blond curls, full lips, a staring look – the sum of all the components turned the stranger in the crowd into a super-female who was guaranteed to catch the attention of passers-by. But only the sex bomb did not exist in the flesh, it was a trick, a training program, a projection of male lust on a sad reality.

Mouse is not wise. More banal than a blonde in red can only be a blonde in pink, but sexual cliches work flawlessly. Sex is generally always well served and sold. Yes, there is a special, refined and sophisticated understanding of sexuality, but do not be mistaken: maybe two out of ten will remember Charlotte Ginzbur or the late Amy Winehouse, but most will surely call Scarlett Johansson or Madonna the sex symbol – with her outstanding third size and Rottweiler energy .

But with all the sexual attractiveness – stage and screen – is Madonna really so sexy? When the enormous and terrible Dennis Rodman, who once turned up an affair with a pop star, impudently declared that she was “not a special virtuoso” in bed, although the audience gasped as best she could. How so? The “main fucker” of the planet and suddenly – not a virtuoso? Either the world has gone mad, or Rodman is simply lying. It is not known what the Madonna will say about him!

Madonna then prudently said nothing. She was generally more interested in world domination, rather than a two-meter basketball player, however, the question of the sex bomb sexuality remained. And it turned out to be not so absurd.

It just seems that sex is simple and honest. In fact, this is the most extensive zone of universal lies and burning myths. Busty blondes, who no longer know which half-naked photo to post on their instagram puffy pheromones, serve themselves as goddesses of lust and debauchery, and they themselves secretly dream of entering the warm coziness of arranged family life on red thongs.

A handsome young muscular man whose word “sex” just doesn’t run down his forehead and doesn’t drip onto the cubes of the press, demonstrates completely unimpressive fuss in bed and only remembers that sex should end with an orgasm (and not necessarily yours).

The fact that sexuality and sex appeal do not have to coincide in one body can be clearly seen, for example, in the red light district. It would seem that the priestesses of love, professionals … However, walk along the windows – more cynical and frigid creatures than local prostitutes, you will not find. Here sex is not a goal, but a tool, and sex appeal is just a way of earning. Nothing personal just business. But after all, in the same way, Madonna, Marilyn Monroe or Sofia Vergara put on red in order to please the public and succeed. Sex is their trump card, but not necessarily a state of mind and the need of the body.

However, no one digs so deep. The red dress causes protocol salivation, and the belief that the external image and internal installations are always and tightly connected to each other.

But this is a mistake, and Samantha Jones is a typical movie stunt, such a Hollywood Odyssey of great sex in a tight skirt. And it’s not that the performer of this role, Kim Cattrall, is completely slurred in her personal life. The fact is that even in this image of a self-confident pleasure machine, the scriptwriters added a little sobering reality: a panicky fear of impending old age and at times acutely aware loneliness. And this is all (and not the red neckline and stilettos) – companions of the myth of a chic, sexy and liberated woman.   

And let most of us never personally know whether Jack Gyllenhaal or Selena Gomez are so good in bed, as their outfits, habits and fees convince, but still sexuality is instinct, and sex appeal is a way of packing. And do not confuse these two, in their own way and individually good things.

All the same, everyone will always bet on red. Because without it, it will be boring to live in the matrix and there is absolutely nothing to do.
